Balanced Attack Pushes Duke Past Jacksonville
Nine different players scored for Duke to lead the seventh-ranked Blue Devils to a 16-7 victory over visiting Jacksonville in non-conference men's lacrosse action this afternoon at Koskinen Stadium. Duke pushed its win streak to seven games with the victory and closed out a four-game stretch in nine days with a 4-0 mark.
The Blue Devils improve to 9-3 overall on the year, while the Dolphins fall to 4-6. The seven goals allowed marks the third time in the past five games Duke has allowed fewer than 10 goals.
Senior Mike Catalino led all goal scorers with a season-high three tallies this afternoon, while seniors Max Quinzani and Ned Crotty both added two goals and two assists. Duke had 11 players overall with at least one point and eight players with multiple points.
