ACC Youth Football Skills & Drills Clinic to Take Place on Saturday in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference will hold its annual Youth Football Skills & Drills Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 1, from 4-7 p.m. on the Carolina Panthers practice field outside of Bank of America Stadium. The clinic will put youth participants through a series of non-contact football skills and drills, including the 40-yard dash, the quarterback sack station, the running back challenge and the field goal kick. 

Prior to the on-field action, participants will spend time in the ACC classroom and will get geared up with wristbands and eye black in the ACC locker room.

Partnering with USA Football, Dick’s Sporting Goods, NCAA Youth Football, Fuel Pizza and Wings and EA Sports NCAA Football 13, the event provides youth football participants with a great way to have a fun end of the season football experience.

Included in the $30 registration is admission to the Skills & Drills Clinic and a ticket to the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game. Participants will also receive a $10 Dick’s Sporting Goods Bonus Certificate, a Fuel Pizza meal coupon and gear.

2012 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship: The 2012 Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game will be played at 8 p.m. on Dec. 1 at Charlotte’s Bank of America Stadium and will feature the Atlantic Division Champion Florida State against the Coastal Division Champion Georgia Tech.  Tickets for the general public are on sale.  The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.
