Team USA Roundup: Aboushi is ACC Lineman of the Week

University of Virginia left tackle Oday Aboushi (2009) was named the ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week for his play in Virginia's 28-21 win at Miami.

Aboushi graded out 89 percent on 64 plays and had 11 knockdown blocks. The Cavaliers rushed for 207 yards and passed for 263 yards, piling up 470 yards of total offense. Aboushi and his line mates did not allow a sack as the Cavaliers attempted 21 pass plays. Miami entered the game ranked No. 3 in the ACC, averaging 2.71 sacks per game.

Aboushi also was named the league's offensive lineman of the week following UVa’s Sept. 10 road victory. The honor is Aboushi's third of his career, he also earned the honor following UVa’s season-opening win against Richmond in 2010.

Elsewhere in the ACC

David Wilson (2009) ran 23 times for 154 yards (6.4 average) for No. 15 Virginia Tech in a 14-10 win over Duke. Tariq Edwards (2009) added two tackles for the Hokies.

Steele Divitto (2010) had three tackles for Boston College in a 28-17 victory over Maryland. Titus Till (2010) had five tackles for the Terps.
