Charlotte, N.C. – Multi-platinum country duo Montgomery Gentry will headline the 2010 ACC FanFest, it was announced by game officials. ACC FanFest, which is free to all game ticket holders, takes place Saturday, December 4th, from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The nationally-acclaimed duo will perform live on the Dr Pepper Stage at 5:30 p.m.
Montgomery Gentry scored a smash hit on their first outing in 1999 with the rousing "Hillbilly Shoes," and they never looked back. Six studio albums yielded five #1 singles, nine more Top 10 singles and millions of albums sold. Success on radio, in stores and on tour led to a Grammy nomination and the duo winning trophies from the ACM, CMA and American Music Awards.

ACC FanFest, located adjacent to Bank of America Stadium and centered at the intersection of Mint and Graham Streets, is the ultimate pre-game activity. Football fans of all ages can get into the spirit of ACC Football with interactive games, team mascots, food and beverage, autograph signings, game merchandise, ACC Corporate Partner giveaways and general family fun.
Special attractions include an ACC Mascot Football game, performances by the participating teams’ band and cheerleaders and a live opening performance by Bridgette Tatum, artist of the 2010 ACC Football theme song, “LOUD”.
The Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game, in its sixth year, will kickoff at 7:45 p.m. and is televised nationally on ESPN. The winner of the championship earns the ACC bid to play in the Discover Orange Bowl, if not selected for the BCS National Championship Game.
Tickets are $25 and $40 for Upper Level, $70 and $90 for Lower Level and $150 for Club Level. Tickets are sold through the local organizing committee’s official website, www.accfootballcharlotte.com.
