16th-Ranked Florida State Hosts Boston College in Atlantic Division Match-up North Carolina and Virginia Resume South's Oldest Rivalry for the 115th time Maryland-Clemson; Miami-Duke Meet in Atlantic, Coastal Contests; Virginia Tech Hosts Wake Forest in Interdivisional Play

Approaching the midway point of the 2010 season, Florida State looks to build on its Atlantic Division lead as the 16th-ranked (AP) Seminoles host Boston College this Saturday in a 12 noon (ESPN) nationally televised contest at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee...Coach Jimbo Fisher's FSU squad, led by an offensive line that includes G Rodney Hudson and C Ryan McMahon, is 3-0 in the ACC after an impressive 45-17 triumph at 13th-ranked Miami...The Eagles of BC, coached by Frank Spaziani and led by LBs Luke Kuechly, the nation's leading tackler, and Mark Herzlich, are looking for their first conference win of the year after back-to-back losses to Virginia Tech and NC State...In Charlottesville, Virginia hosts North Carolina (, 6 pm) in the 115th installment of a rivalry which dates back to 1892...The Tar Heels of coach Butch Davis, winners of three straight, are looking for their first win at Scott Stadium since 1981...North Carolina will be led by the senior tandem of QB T.J. Yates and TB Johnny White... UVa, under first-year head coach Mike London, features senior QB Marc Verica, who is 5th in the ACC in passing efficiency...In Clemson, S.C., the Tigers of Coach Dabo Swinney host Atlantic Division foe Maryland, coached by Ralph Friedgen, in a 12 noon game at Memorial Stadium (ACC Network)...The Tigers have dropped back-to-back ACC games to Miami and North Carolina and are looking to get back on track behind QB Kyle Parker and TB Andre Ellington...The Terrapins, who are currently in second place in the Atlantic, are led by big-play WR Torrey Smith and hard-hitting LB Alex Wujciak...In Durham, N.C., Duke will host Miami in a 1 pm ( game at Wallace Wade Stadium... The Blue Devils are led by the passing combination of QB Sean Renfree and WRs Donovan Varner and Conner Vernon, and are looking for their first conference win against a Miami team that suffered a disappointing loss to Florida State last week.... Meanwhile the Hurricanes of coach Randy Shannon are looking to rebound behind the play of OLB Sean Spence on defense, and WR Leonard Hankerson on offense. Miami has won six straight against Duke since joining the ACC in 2004...In Blacksburg, Va., Wake Forest, led by true freshman QB Tanner Price, will face a Virginia Tech team at Lane Stadium (3:30, ESPNU) that finds itself on a four-game win streak...Coach Frank Beamer's Hokies are led by QB Tyrod Taylor, who has had runs of 70 or more yards in each of the past two games...Two ACC teams step out of conference as NC State plays at instate rival East Carolina in a Noon game (CBSCS) at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium and Georgia Tech hosts Middle Tennessee in a 3:30 pm game ( at Bobby Dodd Stadium......The Wolfpack of Coach Tom O'Brien features a high-octane offense led by QB Russell Wilson, who ranks 5th nationally in total offense...East Carolina, led by first-year coach Ruffin McNeill, does the same behind QB Dominique Davis... Finally in Atlanta, Paul Johnson's Georgia Tech squad hosts the Blue Raiders of Middle Tennessee...The Jackets feature the nation's No. 3 running attack keyed by QB Joshua Nesbitt and BB Anthony Allen... Middle Tennessee is coached by former Clemson assistant Rick Stockstill and led by DE Jamari Lattimore, who is 10th nationally in QB sacks.
