For the first time the ACC returns six quarterbacks who have thrown for 3,000 yards in a season: Tajh Boyd (Clemson), Sean Renfree (Duke), Bryn Renner (North Carolina), Mike Glennon (NC State), Logan Thomas (Virginia Tech), and Tanner Price (Wake Forest). No other conference could boast that before the season. This week on ACC All Access, the QB’s and coaches discuss the talent laden position.

A year ago, Florida State running back Chris Thompson’s career almost ended when he sustained two fractured vertebrae in the Seminoles 35-30 loss to Wake Forest.  Eleven months later Thompson had a career game in just two quarters against the Demon Deacons with touchdown runs of 74 and 80 yards while gaining 197 yards in the first half.  Mike Hogewood says Thompson is the feel good story of the ACC in this week’s Hog Blog.

Miami and Georgia Tech battle Saturday at 3:00 p.m. on FOX Sports South.  Paul Kennedy and Keith Jones preview a pivotal game in the ACC Coastal Division in our Saturday Sneak Peek.
