Charlotte, N.C. (RaycomSports.com) – Raycom Sports’ multi-Emmy Award-winning summer television series, “Havoline Football Saturdays in the South,” begins its ninth season this weekend. The series, with six one-hour episodes, is hosted by Tim Brando and syndicated in 73 markets throughout the country.
This week’s show will highlight the Holt Brothers. After an All-American career at NC State, wide receiver Torry Holt went on to stardom as an All-Pro in the NFL. In addition to excelling on the field, he and brother Terrence, who also starred at NC State and played safety in the NFL, established The Holt Foundation in 1999 to honor their mother Ojetta Holt-Shoffner, who passed away from cancer. Visit with the Holts as they talk about their careers at NC State and in the NFL and explain how The Holt Foundation supports educational, emotional and community services for youth of parents with cancer.
And in the Road Trip segment, fans will witness firsthand the traditions of Homecoming at Georgia Tech. Ride along on the Ramblin Wreck with Tommy Kane and experience all the festivities.
