North Carolina’s Kendall Marshall has four games with 14-or-more assists and leads the ACC in assists (10.2) ... Florida State leads the ACC in field goal percentage defense (.341); the Seminoles have led the ACC in field goal percentage defense in each of the last three years ... Maryland’s Terrell Stoglin leads the ACC in per game scoring improvement (+10.8) from a year ago ... Virginia Tech’s Dorian Finney-Smith leads all ACC freshmen in rebounds (8.6), assists (2.7) and double-doubles (3) ... Boston College limited visiting Stony Brook to 11 first-half points in Sunday’s 61-50 nonconference win ... the 11 first-half points were the fewest in a half in Conte Forum history by any team ... the previous low was held by Georgetown which scored 12 in the first half on Jan. 29, 2005 ... freshman Patrick Heckmann led Boston College with 18 points on Sunday with near-perfect shooting ... Heckmann was 5-for-5 from the floor, including a pair of 3-pointers, and went 6-for-7 from the foul line ... Heckmann continues to lead the Eagles in scoring with 12 points per game ... the Eagles have the week off for exams before hosting Bryant next Sunday.

Clemson senior Andre Young leads all active ACC players with 146 career steals ... Young has connected on 192 career shots from 3-point range, also tops among active league players ... Young has made at least one 3-point field goal in 42 of his last 43 games ... Young needs just eight three-pointers to become the sixth Tiger to reach 200 for a career ... Catalin Baciu’s putback with 13:17 remaining in the first half of Saturday’s game at Arizona was his ninth straight made field goal, longest streak by a Clemson player this season ... Clemson will host Winthrop on Saturday at Littlejohn Coliseum

Duke has started 9-1 for the 18th time in school history and the 10th time under head coach Mike Krzyzewski ... Duke has 39 double-figure scoring games this season and five players averaging 10 or more points per game ... eight different players have scored 10 or more points in a game this season ... freshman Austin Rivers scored in double figures for the ninth time this season in Saturday’s 86-80 win over Washington at New York’s Madison Square Garden ... Rivers led Duke in scoring for the sixth straight game with 18 points ... Andre Dawkins scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half in the win over the Huskies.

The Seminoles moved to 6-0 at home this season with a 75-60 win over UNC Greensboro Sunday ... veteran guard Michael Snaer has now scored in double figures in six consecutive games, including a team-high 14 in the win over UNCG ... FSU forced 21 turnovers and totaled nine blocks. ...the Spartans shot just 35.5 percent from the field ... FSU continues to lead the ACC and rank among the national leaders in field goal percentage defense (.341) and in blocked shots (69) ... senior Bernard James nearly posted his fifth double-double of the year with nine points and 10 rebounds on Sunday ... James added a game-high four blocks.

Georgia Tech has posted two straight wins on the road against in-state opponents ... the Yellow Jackets defeated rival Georgia 68-56 on Dec. 7 and won 65-45 at Savannah State on Saturday ... Georgia Tech shot above 50 percent from the floor in each of those victories (.521 at Georgia and .532 at Savannah State) ... Daniel Miller has blocked four shots in each of his last two games and is averaging 3.0 blocks per contest ... Brandon Reed’s 16 points on Sunday matched a season high ... the sophomore transfer from Arkansas State made 6 of 7 shots, including two 3-pointers.

The Terps improved to 6-3 with Wednesday’s 65-61 win over FIU ... sophomore Terrell Stoglin leads the ACC with seven 20-point games in 2011-12 ... Stoglin has scored 20 or more points in each of his last five games and leads the ACC in scoring (22.2) ... freshman Nick Faust leads the team in assists (22) and steals (11) and over his last two games is averaging 11.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists ... James Padgett leads the team in rebounding (6.4), is third in scoring (9.3) and is shooting .516 from the floor (33-of-64) ... Ashton Pankey is second among ACC freshmen in rebounding (5.9).

Malcolm Grant has made a 3-pointer in 32-straight games dating back to the Dec. 30, 2009 outing against Pepperdine ... Grant needs eight points to reach the 1,000 mark for his career ... sophomore center Kenny Kadji scored a career-high 15 points in Saturday’s road game at West Virginia ... Kadji, a transfer from Florida, scored in double figures for the second straight game and the third time this season ... Garrius Adams’ 15 points vs. the Mountaineers were a season high ... the Hurricanes will break this week due to semester exams before returning to action at Florida Atlantic on Saturday.

Kendall Marshall tied his career high with 16 assists in Saturday night’s win over visiting Long Beach State ... Marshall also has a pair of 15-assist games and a 14-assist games this season ... Tyler Zeller eclipsed the career 1,000-point mark vs. Long Beach State ... Zeller has 1,016 points to rank second among active ACC players ... John Henson posted his ACC-leading fifth double-double of the season with 24 points and 10 rebounds ... Bullock scored eight points in a row to spark a key 13-2 second half run vs. Long Beach State ... Bullock has scored 15 points off the bench in each of the last two games.

NC State's C.J. Williams scored a career-high 21 points while playing in his 100th career game in leading the Wolfpack to a 65-60 win over visiting NC Central on Sunday ... Williams has set or matched his career high three times this season ... Williams established a new high of 18 in the season opener against UNC Asheville and matched it Dec. 4 at Stanford ... the Wolfpack played its second of three games this season at historic Reynolds Coliseum on Sunday ... NC State will welcome Campbell to the on-campus venue on Dec. 29 ... the Pack welcomes top-ranked Syracuse to the RBC Center on Saturday.

The Cavaliers are 8-1 to start a season for the first time since 2004-05 ... Virginia has held all nine opponents this season to under 60 points ... Virginia held its fifth opponent to under 50 points with a 68-48 win over George Mason on Dec. 6 ... the Cavaliers are 32-3 at home against in-state opponents since 1999-2000 ... Sammy Zeglinski (18 points) scored in double figures for the 38th time in his career and the third time this season in the George Mason win ... Mike Scott has moved into a ninth place tie on Virginia’s career rebounding list with (761), tying Scott McCandlish (1970-72) ... Virginia sees its first action in 12 days when it visits Oregon on Sunday.

Virginia Tech sophomore swingman Jarrell Eddie’s 24 points and five successful 3-point shots in Sunday’s win over Norfolk State were career highs ... Erick Green has scored in double figures in each of the nine games in which he has played this season and leads the Hokies in scoring with 16.6 points per game ... after scoring a career-high 12 points in last Thursday’s game at Rhode Island, Cadarian Raines followed up with 10 points in the win over Norfolk State ... Virginia Tech sees its next action on Saturday afternoon, when the Hokies take on Campbell. Tip-off at Cassell Coliseum is slated for 4 p.m.

Travis McKie led Wake Forest (6-4) with 17 points and seven rebounds in Saturday’s game at Seton Hall ... C.J. Harris joined McKie in double figures with 12 points ... Harris has scored in doubles every game this season ... 7-foot senior Ty Walker made his season debut for the Demon Deacons and finished with three rebounds and a block vs. the Pirates ... Wake Forest will be idle for seven days to take fall semester exams ... once the Deacons take care of their academic duties, the team will return to action on Sunday, Dec. 18, at home in-state rival Gardner-Webb. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
