Duke’s Mason Plumlee named ACC Player of the Week while teammate Austin Rivers earns league rookie honors for a fifth time ... 17 of 38 league games to date have been decided by seven points or less, including 12 by fewer than four points ... NC State and Duke are the only ACC teams to have five players averaging in double figures ... Duke leads the ACC in field goal percentage (.489) and 3-point field goal percentage (.399) ... Clemson has had fewer turnovers in each of its last 10 games and ranks second in the ACC in turnover margin (+2.1) ... in ACC games only, North Carolina’s Tyler Zeller leads in rebounds per game (10.5) and field goal percentage (.645) ... Wake Forest’s Ty Walker is blocking 4.1 shots per game in the Deacons’ first seven league games ... Virginia has had five games decided by three points or less ... By the Numbers

3 - Virginia’s Mike Scott is three points shy of 1,300 for his career ... Scott has scored 10-or-more points in each of his last seven games and ranks 24th among Cavalier career scoring leaders (1,297) and fifth in rebounds (844).

Wake Forest's Chase Fischer7 - Wake Forest freshman Chase Fischer has made at least one 3-point field goal in each of his last seven games and over that span is averaging 7.4 points and 2.0 assists.

9.0 - Boston College and Kentucky are the only two teams nationally to have three freshmen averaging 9.0 or more points per game - Ryan Anderson (9.7), Dennis Clifford (9.6) and Patrick Heckmann (9.1) ... through their first 20 games, Eagle freshmen are averaging a combined 44.2 points per game – the third-best freshmen per game average in ACC annals.

9.7 - North Carolina’s Kendall Marshall has nine games with 10-or-more assists and his 9.7 assists per game mark currently tops the all-time single-season mark in ACC history ... NC State’s Chris Corchiani set the league record with a 9.6 assists per game average in 1990-91 ... Wake Forest’s Tyrone Bogues averaged 9.5 in 1986-87 and Georgia Tech’s Craig Neal averaged 9.5 in 1987-88.

14 - Maryland’s Terrell Stoglin has scored 20 or more points in 14 of his 20 games and leads the ACC in scoring (21.3) ... Stoglin has scored in double figures 18 straight games and is bidding to become the first Terrapin since Joe Smith (20.8) in 1994-95 to lead the ACC in points per game.

24.0 - Over his last two games, Clemson’s Andre Young is averaging 24.0 points per game and has hit on 10-of-15 from 3-point range (.667).

58 - NC State’s Scott Wood made all seven of his free throw attempts in the 78-73 win over Miami on Jan. 22, and extended his consecutive free throw streak to an ACC record 58 in a row.

Boston College

Boston College joins Kentucky as one of only two teams nationally with three freshmen averaging at least 9.0 points per game ... Dennis Clifford averages 9.8, Ryan Anderson 9.7 and Patrick Heckmann is scoring at a 9.1 clip ... five of BC’s top six scorers are freshmen ... junior Matt Humphrey posted his 10th double-fi gure scoring game of the season with 13 points vs. Miami on Sunday ... Humphrey also tied for game-high in rebounds among all players with seven ... Boston College plays host to NC State on Wednesday night ... the game will come less than two weeks following the Jan. 19 game between the teams at Raleigh, N.C.


Senior forward Bryan Narcisse, who along with Tanner Smith was presented his undergraduate degree prior to the Tigers’ home game against Wake Forest on Saturday, finished with a career-high 11 points and was 6-for-6 from the foul line in Clemson’s win ... over his last two games, senior guard Andre Young is averaging 24 points while shooting 67 percent from the floor, including 10-of-15 from 3-point range ...with 16 points against the Demon Deacons, junior forward Devin Booker scored in double figures for the eighth time this season and posted his fourth game with at least 16 points.


Duke won its 94th consecutive home non- conference game with Saturday’s victory over St. John’s ... The last time Duke lost to a nonconference team in Cameron Indoor Stadium was on Feb. 26, 2000, against St. John’s ... Mason Plumlee recorded his ACC-leading ninth double-double with 15 points and a career-high 17 rebounds vs. the Red Storm ... Plumlee nearly had his double-double in the first half, scoring eight points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the opening frame ...Ryan Kelly scored in double figures for the 13th time this season on Saturday and scored 10 of his 16 points in the second half.

Florida State

The Seminoles have won five games in a row -- the program’s longest winning streak since 1993 ... FSU (14-6 overall, 5-1 ACC) has scored at least 75 points in four straight games ... Michael Snaer, led the Seminoles in scoring with 18 points in last Wednesday night’s ACC road win over Wake Forest ... Snaer was a perfect 4-for 4 from 3-point range and 6-for-9 overall from the field ... Snaer’s excellence from long range helped FSU shoot 50 percent from 3-point distance and 50.9 percent overall ... the Seminoles shot 68 percent in the second half ... it marked the second straight game in which FSU has shot 50 percent from 3-point range.

Georgia Tech

Mfon Udofia led the Yellow Jackets in scoring in Tuesday night’s ACC game at North Carolina with 16 points, his 12th double-digit scoring effort of the year and his third straight ... Jason Morris added 15 points against the Tar Heels, his ninth double-figure scoring game of the season and his first since a 10-point effort in the win at NC State on Jan. 11 ... sophomore forward Kammeon Holsey is shooting 62 percent from the floor (80-for-129) following a 4-for-5 effort against UNC... Daniel Miller ranks fifth among active ACC players in blocked shots with 117, including 50 in 21 games this season.


ACC leading scorer Terrell Stoglin reached the 20-point mark for the 14th time this season in Saturday’s homecourt win over Virginia Tech ... Stoglin scored 28 points vs. the Hokies, 20 of which came in the second half ... Stoglin also connected on four 3-pointers on Saturday to move up to a tie for 17th on Maryland’s career 3-pointers made list (tied with John Gilchrist at 85) ... after logging 32 minutes vs. Virginia Tech, Sean Mosley became just the 21st player in Maryland basketball history to play 3,000 minutes in his career ... Mosley scored 15 points for his ninth double-figure scoring game of the season.


With Sunday’s win at Boston College, Miami improved to 3-3 in the ACC, the first time the team has been .500 in the league since 2008-09, when the Hurricanes also went 3-3 to start conference play ... junior Kenny Kadji scored Miami’s first seven second-half points on Sunday and finished the game with 14 points, his 12th overall game with double-digit scoring ... Kadji also blocked four shots for the second time in four games and grabbed seven rebounds ... junior Durand Scott went 8-of-15 from the field Sunday on his way to a season-high tying 19 points, his 16th double-digit scoring game of the season.

North Carolina

Kendall Marshall had 12 assists and one turnover in Sunday night’s win over Georgia Tech ... it marked his ninth game this year with 10 or more assists and the 15th of his career ... Marshall tied Phil Ford on UNC’s all-time list for the second-most 10-assist games in a season ... Ford also had nine as a sophomore in 1975-76 ... the record is 12 by Ed Cota in 1997-98 in his sophomore season ... Harrison Barnes led all scorers in the Georgia Tech game with 23 points ... it marked his eighth 20-point game this season ... Barnes had a total of eight 20-point games in 37 contests last year as a freshman.

NC State

Richard Howell posted a double-double in Saturday night’s game against visiting Virginia, highlighted by a career-high 18 rebounds, nine of them on the offensive glass ... Howell had 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting ... the double-double was the Howell’s eighth this season and the 12th of his career ... NC State became just the third team this season to score 60 points or more vs. Virginia ... Scott Wood’s current streak of 58 straight made free throws is an ACC record and the ninth-longest in NCAA Division I history... C.J. Leslie has reached double figures in 16 of the 19 games in which he has played this season.


The Cavaliers’ 17-3 record continues their best start since 1982-83 (started 27-3) ... the Cavaliers improved to 5-1 in true road games this season with Saturday night’s 61-60 win at NC State ... the five true road wins are Virginia’s most in a season since winning five in 2000-01 ... with 18 points vs. the Wolfpack, Mike Scott scored in double figures for the 69th time in his career and the 18th time this season ... Scott moved into 24th place on Virginia’s career scoring list with 1,297 points, moving past Cory Alexander (1,286 from 1992-95) ... Sammy Zeglinski moved into fifth place on Virginia’s career 3-pointer list with 180, moving past John Crotty (179 from 1988-91).

Virginia Tech

Erick Green scored a team high 18 points in Saturday’s ACC road game at Maryland, extending his streak of scoring in double figures to 22 straight games ... senior Dorenzo Hudson has scored in double figures in five straight games, including four straight in his new role of coming off the bench as the sixth man ... Hudson has averaged 14.0 points in his four games as a nonstarter, including 14 in Saturday’s game against the Terps ... Jarrell Eddie has averaged 11.5 points and 8.3 rebounds over his last four games ... Tech is at home for two games this week, playing host to Duke on Thursday night and Clemson on Saturday.

Wake Forest

C.J. Harris extended his double figure scoring streak to 20 games with 19 points Saturday at Clemson .... Harris is just 19 points away from reaching the 1,000 point plateau for his career ... Harris became the first Deacon since Jeff Teague to score in double figures for at least 20 games straight ... Teague had a 35-game streak to end his collegiate career ... Travis McKie posted his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds vs. the Tigers ... McKie has double-doubles in three of his past four games ... Ty Walker has blocked at least one shot in every game in which he has played this season.
