Florida State’s Michael Snaer named ACC Player of the Week, while Duke’s Austin Rivers garners league rookie honors for the fourth time ... NC State is the only ACC team to have five players averaging in double figures... Virginia’s Mike Scott leads all active ACC players in career points (1,261), rebounds (835) and double-doubles (29) ... NC State’s Scott Wood has a career free throw percentage of 89.3 (108-of-121) ... North Carolina’s Kendall Marshall leads the ACC in assists (9.5) and assists to turnover ratio (3.3:1) ... Miami's Shane Larkin2.1 - Miami freshman Shane Larkin leads the ACC in steals per game (2.1) ... over his last three games, Larkin has 12 steals and 12 assists.

3 - North Carolina’s Tyler Zeller has had a double-double in each of his last three games and over that span is averaging 14.7 points and 11.7 rebounds.

5 - Miami’s Kenny Kadji has scored 14 or more points in each of his last five games and over that span is averaging 18.8 points and 7.2 rebounds.

7 - Virginia’s three losses have been by a total of seven points (2,3,2).

13.0 - Over his last 11 games, NC State sophomore Lorenzo Brown is averaging 12.4 points and 7.3 assists.

13 - Maryland’s Terrell Stoglin has scored 20 or more points in 13 of his 18 games and leads the ACC in scoring (21.2)... Stoglin has scored in double figures 16 straight games and is averaging 21.5 ppg in four ACC games.

18 - Wake Forest’s C.J. Harris has scored 10 or more points in 18 straight games ... Harris is third in the ACC in scoring (17.3) and fifth in field goal percentage (.497).

20 - Virginia Tech’s Erick Green has scored 10 or more points in an ACC-best 20 straight games and is sixth in the ACC in scoring (16.1).

58 - NC State’s Scott Wood made all seven of his free throw attempts in Sunday’s 78-73 win over Miami and extended his consecutive free throw streak to an ACC record 58 in a row.

62.7 - Georgia Tech sophomore forward Kammeon Holsey is shooting 62.7 from the floor (74-for-118).

Team Notes

Boston College

Freshman Ryan Anderson recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds in Saturday’s ACC game against visiting Wake Forest ... Jordan Daniels added 12 points for the Eagles and Lonnie Jackson added 10 as freshmen accounted for 49 of Boston College’s 56 points against the Demon Deacons ... the double-figure scoring game was Anderson’s 10th of the season and Jackson’s seventh ... after playing three of their first five ACC games at home, the Eagles hit the road to face Virginia on Thursday night ... but Boston College will then return to Chestnut Hill to face Miami (Jan. 29) and NC State (Feb. 1) in its following two outings.


Andre Young’s career-high 29 points led Clemson in Saturday’s 64-62 win over visiting Georgia Tech ... Young went 9-of-12 from the floor, including 7-of-9 from 3-point range ... Young scored 15 consecutive points during one first-half stretch ... it was the most consecutive points scored by a Clemson player since December 13, 2003, when Chey Christie scored 15 in a row against Georgia at Atlanta’s Philips Arena ... Young’s first-half hot streak followed a 23-minute delay at Littlejohn Coliseum due to a power outage ... Clemson has this week off before playing host to Wake Forest this Saturday.


Duke is 5-1 in games decided by six points or less this season ... Duke had four double-figure scorers for the 12th time this season in Saturday’s game against Florida State (Austin Rivers 19, Andre Dawkins 14, Seth Curry 12, Ryan Kelly 10) ... the Blue Devils are 11-1 when at least four players score in double figures ... Dawkins scored in double figures for the 10th time this season and in the fourth straight game ... Dawkins leads Duke with 15.0 points per game in ACC play ... Rivers scored in double figures for the team-leading 15th time this season ... Rivers is averaging 19.5 points per game over his last two contests.

Florida State

With Saturday’s 76-73 win over No. 4 Duke, FSU snapped the Blue Devils’ school-record tying 45-game homecourt winning streak and became the first opponent to win at Cameron Indoor Stadium since Feb. 11, 2009 ... the Seminoles have defeated top-five ranked teams on successive weekends after knocking off No. 3 North Carolina on Jan. 14 ... FSU shot 54 percent from the floor and became only the third team to shoot 50.0 percent from 3-point range vs. Duke (7-of-14) this season ... that included Michael Snaer’s game-winning 3 pointer as time expired... for the second straight game, FSU finished with more assists than turnovers (15 and 12, respectively).

Georgia Tech

Glen Rice Jr. led the Yellow Jackets with 19 points in Saturday’s ACC road game at Clemson, 17 of which came in the second half and 15 in the final five minutes... Rice also led all rebounders with eight and led Georgia Tech in assists with three ... Rice has scored in double fi gures in 11 of the 16 games in which he has played this season ... Saturday’s game marked his seventh with at least 19 points ... Mfon Udofi a added 10 points for the Yellow Jackets, his 10th double-digit scoring effort of the year and his first since the Jan. 11 road win at NC State.


ACC leading scorer Terrell Stoglin had 20 points in Saturday’s nonconference game at Temple... Stoglin has scored at least 20 points in 13 of the 18 games in which he has played and reached double fi gures in 17 games ...Pe’Shon Howard made 7 of 12 shots from the field to finish with a career-high 15 points against the Owls, and Sean Mosley grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds ... 72 of junior forward James Padgett’s 112 rebounds this season (64.3 percent) have been offensive rebounds ... 30 of his 59 rebounds (51 percent) last season were on the offensive glass.


Junior Kenny Kadji recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds in Sunday’s ACC game against visiting NC State ... Kadji also notched four blocks, two steals and a pair of assists ... Shane Larkin scored nine points, tied his career high in assists with five, and had three steals ... Larkin’s father, MLB Hall of Fame inductee Barry Larkin, was in attendance ... Rion Brown scored 10 points against the Wolfpack, his fourth game this season with double-digit points ... after scoring just four points in the first half, Reggie Johnson scored six of Miami’s fi rst eight points in the second half.

North Carolina

Harrison Barnes’ 27 points in Thursday night’s win at Virginia Tech were a season high ... Barnes has scored at least 20 points in seven games this season ... with 16 points and 16 rebounds on Thursday night, junior John Henson posted his eighth double-double of the season and 27th of his career ... with 14 points and 11 rebounds vs. the Hokies, senior Tyler Zeller posted his fourth double-double in six games ... it marked the 11th double-double of his career and seventh this season ... Zeller has averaged 15.2 points and 11.2 rebounds over those six games.

NC State

Scott Wood, who led the Pack with 21 points in Sunday’s ACC road win at Miami, went 7-of-7 from the foul line and now owns the ACC record for consecutive free throws without a miss with 58 ... Wood, who is 48-of-48 from the line this season, topped the previous mark of 54 set by former Duke All-American J.J. Redick (2003-04) ... Wood’s streak is the ninth longest in NCAA Division I history ... Butler’s Darnell Archey holds the record of 85 (2000-03) ... DeShawn Painter’s 18 points vs. Miami were one shy of his career high and marked his first double-figure scoring game since Nov. 30 vs. Indiana.


With 10 points in Sunday evening’s ACC game against visiting Virginia Tech, Mike Scott scored in double figures for the 67th time in his career and the 16th time this season ... Jontel Evans (10 points) scored in the double figures for the ninth time in his career and fourth time this season ... Joe Harris (10 points) scored in double figures for the 31st time in his career and 15th time this season ... with 7-foot senior Assane Sene expected to be sidelined for six weeks due to an ankle injury, 6-foot-8 sophomore Akil Mitchell made his first start of the season and second career start against the Hokies ... Virginia returns to action on Thursday (Jan. 26), when the Cavaliers play host to Boston College.

Virginia Tech

Erick Green has scored in double figures in each of the 17 games in which he has played this season and in an ACC-best 20 straight games dating back to last season ... Green led the Hokies with 15 points in Sunday’s 47-45 road win at rival Virginia as the Hokies notched their first ACC win of the season ... Dorenzo Hudson’s 3-point shot with 16.5 seconds left in Sunday’s game proved to be the difference vs. the No. 15 Cavaliers ... the win marked Tech’s first over a ranked team on the road since beating No. 12 Clemson on Feb. 25, 2009 ... Tech hosts BYU on Wednesday night in its final regular season non-conference game.

Wake Forest

With 15 points in Saturday afternoon’s ACC road win at Boston College, guard C.J. Harris has scored in double figures in each of the 18 games in which he has played this season... Travis McKie posted his third double double of the season – and his third in five games – with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds vs. the Eagles ... Ty Walker added 11 rebounds and six blocked shots ... Walker is averaging 4.4 blocksper game in ACC play ... Chase Fischer scored 13points off the bench, going 3-for-6 from 3-point range ... Tony Chennault dished out a game-high six assists in Saturday’s win.
