CLEMSON, S.C. - Andre Dawkins scored 24 points and made five 3-pointers to help No. 8 Duke beat Clemson 73-66 Sunday night.

The Blue Devils (15-2, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) overcame a sluggish start to pull away from the Tigers (9-8, 1-2) even though scoring leader Austin Rivers finished with 4 points, more than 10 fewer than his average.

Duke had to overcome a late rally by Clemson, which cut a 13-point lead to 68-64 in the final minute on two 3-pointers by Andre Young. But Dawkins made three foul shots down the stretch as the Blue Devils beat Clemson for the 26th time in the last 28 meetings.

Milton Jennings had 16 points for the Tigers and Devin Booker added 12 points and 13 rebounds.

Duke looked as if it had put the game out of reach when it opened the second half on a 14-7 run. Quinn Cook had a jumper and a 3-pointer and Seth Curry added a bucket. Miles Plumlee put back his brother Mason's miss for two more points. By the time Dawkins connected with his third 3-pointer of the game, the Blue Devils were ahead 46-33.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Sean Mosley scored a game-high 18 points, including the final seven of the contest, to help Maryland pull away from Georgia Tech and claim a 61-50 victory Sunday afternoon.

Terrell Stoglin and James Padgett each added 14 points for the Terrapins (12-4, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) who have won nine of their last 10 games and downed Georgia Tech for the 11th time in their last 12 meetings.

The Terps led by as many as 12 points in the second half before the Yellow Jackets (8-9, 1-2) cut the deficit to 54-50 with 3:08 left on a three-point play by Brandon Reed.

But Mosley, who had 16 points in the second half, answered on the following possession. With the shot clock winding down, the senior nailed a 3-pointer from the left wing. He hit all 10 of his free throw attempts, including four in the final 1:14.
