Eight from ACC Named to NCBWA 2012 Preseason All-America Team

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia junior pitcher Branden Kline has been named to the 12th annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association preseason All-America first team and heads up a group of eight Atlantic Coast Conference student-athletes that were named to squad announced on Wednesday.

North Carolina third baseman Colin Moran, the 2011 ACC Freshman of the Year, was named to the second team, along with Georgia Tech outfielder Kyle Wren and pitcher Buck Farmer, and Florida State outfielder James Ramsey.

The third team includes the 2011 ACC home run leader, Virginia Tech outfielder Andrew Rash, Florida State second baseman Devon Travis and NC State reliever Chris Overman.
