GREENSBORO, N.C. - Virginia senior Scot Robison tallied three first-place finishes and has been recognized as the Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving Men's Performer of the Week. North Carolina freshman Stephanie Peacock registered two NCAA B qualifying times en route to being honored as the Women's Performer of the Week.
A native of Charlotte, N.C., Robison placed first in both the 50 free and 100 free, posting NCAA B times of 20.14 and 44.13, respectively as Virginia topped Navy, 156-136. Both times currently lead the conference. He also swam a leg on the winning 200 medley relay squad, which finished with a time of 1:31.75.
Peacock swam to a pair of NCAA B qualifying times and won two events as North Carolina opened conference play with a 165-127 victory against Maryland. The Cape Coral, Fla., native posted a winning time of 4:17.29 in the 400 IM, which ranks her 10th all-time in school history. It also places her fourth nationally on CollegeSwimming.com's list of top performances for the 2010-11 season and currently ranks first in the league. She recorded a mark of 1:48.56 in the 200 free.
