GREENSBORO, N.C. – Florida State’s Colleen Quigley has been named the ACC Women’s Cross Country Performer of the Week, while Georgia Tech’s Jeremy Greenwald and Louisville’s Ernest Kibet were selected as the Men’s Cross Country Co-Performers of the Week.

Quigley seized control of the Paul Short Run Women’s Gold race at the midway point and dominated the field over the final kilometer to win the 6,000-meter race in a blistering 19:49, the third-fastest winning time in the history of the event. It was the second win of the season for the St. Louis, Missouri, senior, who helped the sixth-ranked Seminoles to a third-place finish behind Canada powerhouse Guelph University and fifth-ranked Georgetown.

Greenwald finished first overall in the Upstate Invitational, covering the 8k course in a time of 24:58, finishing 10 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher Kent Garrett (25:08) of Wake Forest.  Saturday's race marked the third straight first-place finish for the Chesapeake, Virginia, senior.

Kibet ran his best race of the season at this past weekend’s 28-team Greater Louisville Classic. The Eldoret, Kenya, junior completed the 8k course in 23:53.27, finishing just 7.5 seconds behind the leader to lead the Cardinals to a sixth-place finish.
