Of note: The teams meet for the first time since 2010 and the fifth time in an ACC game ... The Wolfpack claimed a 17-16 win in the first ACC meeting between the teams at Blacksburg in 2004 ... The Hokies have since won three straight in the series, which was first played in 1900 ... The schools met 22 times at neutral sites between 1906 and 1959, with Virginia cities Richmond, Norfolk, Roanoke and Portsmouth, plus Bluefield, West Virginia, all hosting games.
Ones to watch: NC State LB Airius Moore had nine tackles, including one for loss, in last Saturday’s loss to visiting Louisville ... Virginia Tech CB Chuck Clark had nine tackles vs. Pitt, his eighth straight game registering at least five.

Of note: Renewal of a series that was first played in 1944 and most recently in 2010 ... Army snapped a two-game losing streak versus the Blue Devils with a 35-21 victory in the last meeting five years ago ... Army scored four touchdowns off Duke turnovers in claiming the win, overcoming a big day by Blue Devil WR Conner Vernon, who led all players with eight catches for 129 yards and a touchdown .... Duke will be the second ACC team Army has hosted this season ... Wake Forest claimed a 17-14 win at Michie Stadium on Sept. 19.
Ones to watch: PK Ross Martin connected on field goals of 36, 38 and 53 yards, the latter tying a career-long, to account for all of Duke’s scoring in the win over Boston College ... Army QB AJ Schurr rushed for 74 yards and both of his team’s touchdowns in last Saturday’s loss to Penn State.

The teams have split their first two conference meetings, with Pitt winning 14-3 at home two years ago and Virginia claiming a 24-19 win last season in Charlottesville ... RB Kevin Parks ran for a career-best 169 yards and a touchdown to lead Virginia in last season’s game ... Five of the seven previous meetings between the teams have come in the past 12 years, including a 23-16 Virginia win in the 2003 Continental Tire Bowl at Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ones to watch: WR T.J. Thorpe, in his first game for Virginia after three seasons at North Carolina, had a 75-yard TD pass reception vs. Boise State on Sept. 25 ... Pitt LB Matt Galambos had a career-high 10 tackles, including a sack and 1.5 tackles for loss in last Saturday’s win over Virginia Tech.

BC escaped Winston-Salem with a 23-17 win last year as RB Jon Hilliman rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns ... Eight of the first 10 games between the schools from 1941 through 1953 were played in Boston’s major league baseball parks -- two at Fenway Park and six straight at old Braves Field from 1946 through 1951.
Ones to watch: Wake Forest DB Zach Dancel had seven tackles with four solo stops with one sack vs. No. 11 Florida State in last Saturday’s game ... Redshirt freshman QB Troy Flutie completed a 66-yard touchdown pass vs. Duke for the Eagles’ longest play from scrimmage this season.

While USF won six of those meetings, both of the Orange’s series wins have come in Tampa, most recently by a 37-36 score in 2012 ... Ryan Nassib threw a 1-yard touchdown pass to Alec Lemon with three seconds left as Syracuse rallied from a 20-point halftime deficit in that win ... The teams will meet again at the Carrier Dome to complete the current home-and-home series on Sept. 17, 2016.
Ones to watch: Syracuse WR Brisly Estime had a career-best 261 all-purpose yards and scored a touchdown in the Orange’s most recent outing vs. No. 8 LSU on Sept. 26 ...USF RB Marlon Mack registered his sixth-career 100-yard rushing game with 107 yards on 20 carries in last week’s loss to Memphis.

Jamal Golden returned an interception 85 yards for a touchdown, and Chris Milton picked off another pass and returned it 62 yards for a score to key the Yellow Jackets.
Ones to watch: Georgia Tech true freshman A-back Mikell Lands-Davis saw his first career action against North Carolina last Saturday and caught his first career touchdown pass ... Clemson DE Shaq Lawson has recorded at least 1.5 tackles for loss in every game this season, including 3.5 in last Saturday’s win over over No. 6 Notre Dame.

RB Dalvin Cook ran for two scores, including the go-ahead touchdown with 3:05 remaining, to lift the third-ranked Seminoles to a 30-26 win in last November’s game at Sun Life Stadium.
Ones to watch: Miami senior LB Raphael Kirby posted 10 or more tackles for the third straight game when he finished with 11 stops in last Thursday night’s game vs. Cincinnati ... Florida State LB Reggie Northrup led the defense with 10 tackles (including five solo stops) and four quarterback hurries vs. Wake Forest.
