But the Cardinals have held a 13-8 edge since the schools resumed the rivalry in 1994 after a 70-year hiatus.

Ones to watch:Louisville junior WR Jamari Staples caught nine passes for 194 yards and a touchdown last Saturday vs. Pitt ... Kentucky junior RB Jojo Kemp rushed 11 times for a career-best 165 yards and a career-high tying three TDs vs. Charlotte.

QB Jacoby Brissett and RB Shadrach Thornton combined for 328 rushing yards and two touchdowns to lead the Wolfpack, which has won six of its last eight meetings with the Tar Heels.

Ones to watch: North Carolina senior LB Shakeel Rashad had a career-high 15 tackles, one sack and two tackles for loss in last Saturday’s win at Virginia Tech ... NC State freshman RB Reggie Gallaspy rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown in the Wolfpack’s win over visiting Syracuse.
