Of note: North Carolina has won three of the last four meetings, but NC State bagged a 35-7 win on its last visit to Kenan in 2014 ... The Tar Heels stormed to an early 35-7 lead last year in Raleigh before holding off the Wolfpack for a 45-34 win ... A victory on Friday would earn UNC at least a share of the Coastal Division title, but the Tar Heels would need a Virginia win over Virginia Tech on Saturday to earn a spot in the ACC Championship game ... A win makes NC State bowl eligible.

Ones to watch: NC State S Josh Jones racked up 15 tackles in last weekend’s home finale against Miami ... North Carolina S Dominique Green recorded UNC’s first interception of the season and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown last Saturday vs. The Citadel.

Of note: The teams meet for the 111th time in the state rivalry series that was first played in Athens on Nov. 4, 1893 ... The Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs own the 19th most-played rivalry in the FBS ... Prior to Georgia’s 13-7 win last season in Atlanta, the winning team had scored at least 30 points in each of the previous eight meetings, including Georgia Tech’s 30-24 overtime victory in 2014 that snapped a five-game Bulldog winning streak in the series.

Ones to watch: Georgia Tech RB Marcus Marshall rushed for 127 yards on 16 carries vs. Virginia, including a 67-yard touchdown run ... Georgia  junior WR Isaiah McKenzie registered his school-record fifth career punt return for a touchdown in last Saturday’s win over Louisiana Lafayette.

Virginia Tech has won all 12 meetings between the rival schools since joining the ACC in 2004 ... Virginia’s last series win was a 35-21 victory in Charlottesville in 2003 ... Virginia is seeking its first win in Blacksburg since 1998 ... Virginia Tech won 23-20 last year to clinch bowl eligibility for the 23rd straight year under retiring head coach Frank Beamer.

Ones to watch: Virginia WR Keeon Johnson went over the 1,000-yard receiving mark for his career vs. Georgia Tech and ranks 32nd in school history with 1,032 yards ... The 31 passing and rushing touchdowns for which QB Jerod Evans has accounted are a Virginia Tech single-season record.

Of note: Louisville seeks its sixth straight win in the series between the in-state rival schools ... Louisville claimed a 38-24 victory in last year’s meeting at Lexington, as the Cardinals overcame a 21-0 deficit to take home the Governor’s Cup.. Kentucky dominated the first six series meetings between 1912 through 1924, posting shutout wins in each game ... But the Cardinals have held a 14-8 edge since the schools resumed the rivalry in 1994 after a 70-year hiatus.

Ones to watch: Louisville DB Dee Smith led the Cardinals with a career-high 10 tackles in the loss to Houston last Thursday night ... Freshman Benny Snell rushed for 152 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Kentucky beat Austin Peay.

Of note: Pitt has won the last three meetings, all since both schools joined the ACC for the start of the 2013 season ... The Panthers have claimed 10 of their last 11 versus the Orange, which will be seeking to win in Pittsburgh for the first time since 2001 ... Last season’s 23-20 Pitt win at the Carrier Dome came as Panther PK Chris Blewitt connected on a 25-yard field goal as time expired ... Pitt RB Qadree Ollison ran for 98 yards and Orange QB Eric Dungey threw two touchdown passes.

Ones to watch: WR Ervin Philips was the Orange’s top receiver against Florida State with seven receptions for 63 yards and a touchdown ... Pitt WR Quadree Henderson returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown in the win over Duke and ran 52 yards for another score.

Of note: Wake Forest’s 3-0 win last season at Chestnut Hill snapped a two-game Eagles winning streak in the series, which was first played in 1941 ... Wake Forest was a frequent visitor to Boston in the mid-20th century, playing two games at Fenway Park and six games at Old Braves Field between 1942 through 1953 ... Boston College holds a 7-4 edge in ACC games ... The Eagles drove to the Wake Forest 1 at the conclusion of last year’s game, but the Deacons held on to win.

Ones to watch: Boston College senior LB Matt Milano recorded his first career interception and returned it 19 yards for a touchdown in last weekend’s win over UConn ... Wake Forest P Dom Maggio launched an 80-yard punt vs. Clemson --  third-longest in school history and in the FBS this season.

Of note: First meeting between the teams since last season’s bizarre Halloween night finish in Durham, when the Blue Devils scored late to take the lead but then saw Miami win the game 30-27 on a kickoff return that featured eight laterals and Corn Elder’s eventual game-winning touchdown ... This Saturday finds Duke seeking its first win at Miami since taking the series opener by a 20-7 score in 1976 ... Miami has won the last two series meeting and holds an 10-1 lead in ACC play.

Ones to watch: Duke WR T.J. Rahming had 10 receptions for 116 yards in last Saturday’s game at Pitt ... Miami WR Ahmmon Richards has 849 receiving yards this season, breaking Michael Irvin’s freshman school record that had stood for 31 years.

QB Deshaun Watson ran for three touchdowns and threw for another to lead the top-ranked Tigers ... The victory was Clemson’s first at Williams-Brice Stadium since 2007.

Ones to watch: With a career-high 161 rushing yards vs. Wake Forest, RB Wayne Gallman set a Clemson record by posting his 16th career game with 100 yards or more ... South Carolina freshman RB Rico Dowdle rushed for 226 yards on 21 carries vs. Western Carolina.

at Gainesville ... Dalvin Cook ran for 183 yards and two touchdowns, Roberto Aguayo kicked two long field goals as the Seminoles won their third consecutive game at Florida Field ... A win on Saturday would give the Seminoles at least nine wins for the seventh consecutive season under the watch of head coach Jimbo Fisher.

Ones to watch: With his 225-yard, four-touchdown performance last week vs. Syracuse, Florida State RB Dalvin Cook became the leading rusher in school history ... Florida RB Jordan Scarlett rushed 22 times for 108 yards in last Saturday’s win over LSU.

Next game: Both teams bowl eligible; Florida faces Alabama in SEC title game on Dec. 3.
