NBA Finals Feature Six Players From ACC Schools



GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Six players from Atlantic Coast Conference schools are among those competing in the NBA Finals as the Golden State Warriors square off against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the second consecutive year.

The defending champion Warriors’ roster includes North Carolina alumni Harrison Barnes and James Michael McAdoo. Kyrie Irving and Dahntay Jones represent Duke on the Cleveland roster, which also features Iman Shumpert of Georgia Tech and James Jones of Miami.

The ACC led all conferences with 74 players from its member schools earning spots NBA rosters at the outset of the 2015-16 season.  Below is a breakdown of the former players from ACC schools who made the 2016 NBA Playoffs.
