RANK SCHOOL JEFF FISCHEL'S TOP 5 DYNAMIC DUOS

1

GRAYSON ALLEN & BRANDON INGRAM (DUKE)

JEFF'S TAKE: Allen is definitely 1st Team All-ACC, and he's one of the top candidates right now for ACC POY. Ingram deserves to be in the discussion for 1st Team All-ACC as well, and is likely ACC Rookie of the Year. Combined, they're averaging 38 points a game.

2

MALCOLM BROGDON & ANTHONY GILL (VIRGINIA)

JEFF'S TAKE: Malcolm Brogdon is so good in so many subtle ways; it's hard to completely quantify how much he means to Virginia. The same, though, can be said for Gill. 14 points and 6 rebounds a game won't blow you away, but Gill is, without a doubt, one of the top 6 post players in the conference. They also dominate doing Dubsmash.

3

ZACH AUGUSTE & DEMETRIUS JACKSON (NOTRE DAME)

JEFF'S TAKE: Auguste averages a double double. Jackson is top 10 in scoring, assists and steals. When they're both playing well, Notre Dame's half-court offense is close to unstoppable. My favorite Must See Moment for each player: Jackson. Auguste.

4

JUSTIN JACKSON & BRICE JOHNSON (NORTH CAROLINA)

JEFF'S TAKE: Before the season, the obvious UNC 1-2 punch would have been Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson. Paige, though, has been hurt or in a slump for too much of this season. Johnson either dominates in the paint or from 85 feet away. I'm thinking Jackson has more of this in store for us in DC in a couple of weeks.

5

JAMEL ARTIS & MICHAEL YOUNG (PITT)

JEFF'S TAKE: Artis and Young have an identical, sparkling 60.5 True Shooting % and ORtg of 115. (That's per KenPom.) In fact, across the board, this insideoutside combo offers great productivity and balance.
