CLEMSON (8-0 ACC | 12-0 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: As I watched Clemson's fumbles Saturday, it occurred to me that I wasn't witnessing an anomaly. Then, Sunday, David Hale tweeted this out and, without saying so openly, basically warned Clemson to clean it up or else it won't win 3 more. Or even 1 more. Yes, Clemson sweeps my All-ACC voting. Deshaun Watson is my POY. Shaq Lawson is my DPOY*. And Dabo Swinney is my Coach of the Year.

NORTH CAROLINA (8-0 ACC | 11-1 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: So, Clemson's offense is 14th in offensive efficiency. And UNC's defense is 94th. There's a big Tigers advantage. But the Tar Heels are #1 in the nation in preventing explosive big plays. Meanwhile, Elijah Hood--with his performance against NC State--moved past Wayne Gallman to #2 RB on my All-ACC ballot.

FLORIDA STATE (6-2 ACC | 10-2 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Obviously, Dalvin Cook is the #1 RB on my All-ACC ballot. Derwin James is my Defensive Rookie of the Year. Congrats to Roderick Johnson for already earning some postseason hardware.

PITT (6-2 ACC | 8-4 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Tyler Boyd is the #1 WR on my ballot. Qadree Ollison was my second choice for Offensive Rookie of the Year; I went with Clemson's Mitch Hyatt instead.

LOUISVILLE (5-3 ACC | 7-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: It always feels good to beat your rival, especially when said school is in the SEC. It won't be a surprise if the Cards get shut out of the All-ACC 1st Team. Trevon Young is my #4 LB.. which is funny because he was twice the ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week.

MIAMI (5-3 ACC | 8-4 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: It's been a tumultuous season. But I could've saved Canes fans a lot of grief. In my pre-season Power Poll, I predicted that 8-4 would be a solid season due to a tough schedule. Yep, the Canes are 8-4. Repeat this mantra over and over: I will have realistic expectations. I will have realistic expectations. I will...

VIRGINIA TECH (4-4 ACC | 6-6 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: It was the right way to go out: Beat UVA once again. And what do you do after you beat your in-state rival for the 12th-straight time? THIS! And now, we know Justin Fuente is the heir to the throne.

NC STATE (3-5 ACC | 7-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: There was clearly progress from Year 1 to Year 2 of the Dave Doeren Era. With an experienced QB, was there even more progress in Year 3? Not sure. I have Joe Thuney as the #2 OT on my All-ACC ballot.

DUKE (4-4 ACC | 7-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Jeremy Cash is the #1 safety and Matt Skura is the #1 center on my ballot. Duke needed a win badly Saturday and got it. My best postseason guess right now is the Military Bowl.

VIRGINIA (3-5 ACC | 4-8 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Now that the Mike London Era is over, I'm conflicted about how to think of these past 6 years. Did they reach their potential? Not frequently enough. Was recruiting as strong as it should be? No, probably not. But with a more generous OOC schedule and a little luck vs Virginia Tech, would London still be the coach? I think that's possible. Possible 1st team All-ACC: Quin Blanding is my #2 safety and Micah Kiser is my #3 linebacker.

SYRACUSE (2-6 ACC | 4-8 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: It was good to see Scott Shafer win his final game, and the celebration that followed. I gave two Orange players a 1st team All-ACC vote for their special teams work: Riley Dixon (punter/master of the fake FG) and Brisly Estime (return specialist).

WAKE FOREST (1-7 ACC | 3-9 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: I don't have any Demon Deacons on my 1st team. Alex Kinal would have been the obvious choice, but I went with Dixon instead.

GEORGIA TECH (1-7 ACC | 3-9 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: So, the team that was #3 in my pre-season Power Poll ends the year at #13. I think that's a good reason to take everything I say with a grain of salt. But did I mention I predicted that Miami would be 8-4?

BOSTON COLLEGE (0-8 ACC | 3-9 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Steven Daniels wasn't ACC Linebacker of the Week once this year. I don't care. He may not have a huge NFL career. I don't care. He's very productive and the leader of the best defense in the ACC, and would've been my vote for ACC DPOY.. but he wasn't an option on the ballot. Oh well. That doesn't take away from a great season by Daniels and the Eagles' defense. Hopefully, there's an offense to match next year.
