CLEMSON (4-0 ACC | 7-0 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Dabo keeps finding new ways to get his team's attention. And after the game? Hotline Bling.

FLORIDA STATE (4-1 ACC | 6-1 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: From the Noles' perspective, this kind of sums up Saturday night. Roberto Aguayo is still the guy I would want for the big kick, but he's not quite the tackler he thought he was.

PITT (4-0 ACC | 6-1 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: 3-4-5 is splitting hairs. Of the 3, ESPN says Pitt has the longest odds of winning the Coastal. BTW: Guess which conference is the only one with 5 teams that have 0 or 1 loss at this point?

NORTH CAROLINA (3-0 ACC | 6-1 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: ESPN's FPI rankings are rather baffling to me, but on the plus side for Tar Heels fans, the system likes UNC--projecting a 9-3 record and a 40% chance to win the Coastal.

DUKE (3-0 ACC | 6-1 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Thomas Sirk won it for the Blue Devils in the 4th OT. They're now 6-1. And with a McCaffrey on the roster, you'd think they'd get more attention.

GEORGIA TECH (1-4 ACC | 3-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Though this be madness, yet there is method in't. What a time to be alive. (Thank you, Drake.) Or, if you prefer, The Miracle on Techwood. Have you noticed? GT's only Ls are to Notre Dame and the teams above them in my Power Poll.

LOUISVILLE (2-2 ACC | 3-4 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: The win over BC was everything we've come to expect from this team, good and not so good. Before the season, I said the Cards would win every game after their October loss to FSU. I'm sticking by that, although that meeting with Pitt looks much tougher than it did 2 months ago.

MIAMI (1-2 ACC | 4-3 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Farewell, Al Golden. I won't lie: I like Al quite a bit and wanted to see him succeed. He was handed a dumpster fire and always handled the situation with class. It's saying something when you say a guy's fatal flaw may have been loyalty. The next guy has a tough job too--protect the school's integrity as well as Golden did, and add Ws.

VIRGINIA TECH (1-3 ACC | 3-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: David Teel does a good job here breaking down why Duke won Saturday and Virginia Tech didn't, and why Duke is 6-1 and Virginia Tech is 3-5.

NC STATE (1-2 ACC | 5-2 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: Life isn't fair, Pack fans. NC State was 9th last week, and had a solid win over Wake Forest. But Georgia Tech jumps past you, and no one falls behind you. So, you fall to 10. Sorry.

VIRGINIA (1-2 ACC | 2-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: No movement from my bottom 4. Nothing that happened on the field Saturday overrides the transitive property of 11-14: Virginia beat Syracuse which beat Wake Forest which beat Boston College.

SYRACUSE (1-2 ACC | 3-4 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: I'm glad Eric Dungey is doing ok. That hit sure didn't look good. I'm rather amazed it wasn't a concussion.

WAKE FOREST (1-4 ACC | 3-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: John Wolford went 2 for 7 for 15 yards against NC State before Kendall Hinton came in. I'm not yet sure if it's a full-fledged QB controversy.

BOSTON COLLEGE (0-5 ACC | 3-5 OVERALL)

JEFF'S TAKE: The BC defense did its job against Louisville--just 1 offensive TD allowed. According to one computer, it is the #2 defense in the nation. Somehow, Addazio needs to squeeze some water from the stone that is his offense.
