The ACC Football Championship game is set and the Virginia Tech Hokies will battle the Clemson Tigers Saturday for the title. ACC All Access takes a look at each team's 2011 season, including their October 1 meeting in Blacksburg when the Tigers defeated the Hokies 23-3, and our ACC football broadcast team of Rich Waltz and Keith Jones preview the big game.
Clemson wide receiver Sammy Watkins was named the ACC Rookie of the Year by the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association, becoming Clemson's first ACC Rookie of the Year since James Davis in 2005. ACC All Access profiles Watkins, who needs just 12 receiving yards in the ACC Championship game to break former Tiger Rod Gardner's record of 1,084 receiving yards in 1999.
The NC State Wolfpack pulled of the second biggest comeback in ACC football history after overcoming a 27-point deficit and scoring 35 points in the fourth quarter to defeat Maryland. Mike Hogewood witnessed the game and says it's the wildest game he's ever seen in this week's Hog Blog.
