These two schools have met every season since 1919 and this matchup will tie for the fourth longest series in Football Bowl Subdivision history. Virginia trails the all-time series with North Carolina, 58-54-4, but holds a 24-22 advantage in Charlottesville.

ACC Field Hockey North Carolina Tar Heels  vs. Syracuse &  Maryland Terrapins vs. Princeton
Friday, Nov. 16 both the Tar Heels and the Terrapins play in the NCAA semifinals. North Carolina is making its 17th appearance in field hockey's final four. The Tar Heels have reached the national semifinal for the fourth year in a row and the fifth time in the past six years. Maryland is 16-6-1 all-time vs. Princeton. The Tigers beat the Terps 3-2 on Oct. 2 in Princeton this year. Maryland and Princeton last met in the NCAA Tournament in the 2009 NCAA Semifinals. Maryland won 7-5 to advance to the national final.
