On ACC ALL ACCESS This Week: Starting On Wednesday, October 5

Oct. 5, 2011

The No. 8 Clemson Tigers are off to a 5-0 start overall and have defeated ranked opponents Auburn, Florida State and Virginia Tech, becoming the first ACC team to take down ranked teams for three straight weeks. The Tigers offense ranks second in the ACC in total offense averaging 466.8 yards per game. This week ACC All Access features the man who guides the Clemson offense, first year offensive coordinator Chad Morris.

With Duke’s 31-27 win over Florida Atlantic Saturday, the Blue Devils’ football squad has won three games in a row for only the second time since 1994, the last time Duke went to a bowl game. Mike Hogewood says Duke might be well on its way to breaking that 17-year bowl drought in this week’s Hog Blog.

The Duke women’s soccer team is also playing well, as the Blue Devils are tied for first place in the ACC with Wake Forest. Freshman forward Kelly Cobb leads the Blue Devils in goals (8), points (22) and assists (6). ACC All Access sits down with the latest fabulous freshman in ACC Women’s soccer.

And the “Road to Charlotte” previews the big games this week in ACC football, including the No. 8 Clemson Tigers hosting the Boston College Eagles Saturday at 3 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Carolinas.
