At the annual ACC Football Kickoff in July, ACC All Access gave flip cams to Mark Herzlich of Boston College, Christian Ponder of Florida State and a pair of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Roddy Jones and Jason Peters, for a behind-the-scenes look at their experiences at the event. From enduring countless interviews from the media to hanging out with their buddies in the hotel and talking a little noise to their upcoming opponents, we give you an all access pass to their weekend.
Our Top 5 list catches you up with what you may have missed during your summer vacation, from the successful head coaching debuts of Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher and Mike London at Virginia to the beginning of the Heisman Trophy campaigns of quarterbacks Christian Ponder of Florida State and Joshua Nesbitt of Georgia Tech.
The Road to Charlotte has begun and ACC All Access previews a pair of ACC teams going on the road to face a couple of college football heavyweights. Florida State travels to Norman, Oklahoma to face the Oklahoma Sooners while Miami takes on Ohio State at the horseshoe in Columbus, Ohio, their first meeting since the 2003 BCS Championship Game. We also preview the only conference match-up of the week – Duke taking on Wake Forest.
