  • Virginia's Yannick Kaeser (Switzerland) finished 8th in Preliminary Heat 4 of the 200m Breaststroke with a time of 2:13.49. He did not advance to Semifinals.
  • Virginia's Matt McLean (USA) finished 1st in Heat 2 of the morning Preliminaries for the 4x200 Freestyle Relay with a time of 7:06.75. He earned a Gold Medal when Team USA placed 1st in the afternoon finals.
