Swimming:

  • Virginia Tech’s Katarina Filova (Slovakia) finished fifth in the second heat of the Women’s 200m freestyle preliminaries with a time of 2:02.03.
  • Georgia Tech’s Gal Nevo (Israel) finished first in the first heat of the Men’s 200m butterfly preliminaries with a time of 1:59.98.

Diving:

  • Nick McCrory (United States) with partner David Boudia captured the bronze medal in the Men’s Synchronized 10-Meter with a score of 463.47. (read more)

Rowing:

  • Virginia’s Inge Janssen (Netherlands) with partner Elisabeth Hogerwerf finished fourth in the first heat of the Women’s Double Sculls with a time of 7:00.10.

Sailing:

  • In Men’s Finn Races 3 and 4, Miami’s Zach Railey (United States) finished 12th and 17th respectively.

Equestrian:

  • Virginia’s Will Coleman (United States) competed in Cross Country and finished with a score of 82.70.

Volleyball:

  • Miami’s Ciara Michel and Savannah Leaf were part of the first indoor victory for the Great Britain Volleyball team as they beat Algeria 22-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19 and 15-8. Michel had four kills and two aces and Leaf had eight spikes.
