Five ACC Teams Ranked in the Preseason USA Today Top 25

The ACC leads all leagues with four teams in the top 13 

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The USA Today Sports Preseason Top 25 women’s basketball coaches poll has been released, and the ACC has five teams ranked in the Top 25, including four in the top 13 – the most of any league. Notre Dame is the highest ranked ACC at No. 2, followed by No. 8 Louisville, No. 12 Florida State, No. 13 Syracuse and No. 20 Miami. 

ACC teams receiving votes include Duke, NC State and Georgia Tech.  

The 2016-17 women’s basketball season tips off on Friday, Nov. 13 with 13 ACC teams in action.
