Emmy Award-Winning Havoline Football Saturdays Kicks Off 13th Season This Weekend

Episode 1 Spotlights Georgia Tech Legend Joe Hamilton and North Carolina Running Back Elijah Hood

Charlotte, N.C. – Raycom Sports’ multi-Emmy Award-winning summer television series, “Havoline Football Saturdays,” begins its 13th season this weekend.  The series, with six one-hour episodes, is hosted by Tim Brando and syndicated in over 100 markets throughout the country.

This week’s show features former Georgia Tech quarterback and College Football Hall of Fame member Joe Hamilton. After a stellar career with the Yellow Jackets, including being the runner-up for the 1999 Heisman Trophy, Hamilton has transitioned into the instructional side of football. See how he is now teaching the next generation of quarterbacks.

Head to Charlotte, N.C., to meet North Carolina’s Elijah Hood, one of the best running backs in the country. The Tar Heel junior is looking to build upon a sophomore campaign that saw him run for almost 1,500 yards. Hear him talk about how his training in the Boy Scouts helped him become a success in Chapel Hill.
