Sophomore notched seven points over the weekend
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College sophomore forward Eryn McCoy has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week.
McCoy tallied seven points over the weekend to lead Boston College to a 2-0 record with wins over No. 7 Louisville and California. The Lancaster, Pa., native scored both of the Eagles’ goals in the 2-1 victory over the Cardinals, including the game-winning score in overtime in a one-on-one situation with the Louisville goalkeeper.
McCoy continued her point streak against the Golden Bears on Sunday when she scored Boston College’s first goal and recorded an assist. Her seven points this weekend give her 21 on the season, tied for the most on the team.
