Atlantic Coast Conference Announces Cross Country Performer of the Week
Syracuse’s Adam Palamar earns honor
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse’s Adam Palamar has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Performer of the Week for men’s cross country.
Palamar, a senior from Ottawa, Ontario, raced to his first win of the 2016 season and second of his Orange career after winning the open 5k at last year’s Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown. Palamar, also named the National Men’s Athlete of the Week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), led six Syracuse runners in the top-seven (including a pair competing as unattached) to close out the regular season.
