Moore earned the first ACC Player of the Week honor of her career after averaging 18.7 points, 6.7 assists, and 5.7 rebounds in a 3-0 week that included a 79-69 win over No. 15/13 Florida State. The Hercules, California native also contributed 11 points and nine assists in an 88-66 win over UT-Martin on Dec. 28.

Watts continued her stellar play last week, leading North Carolina to a 3-0 record, including a buzzer-beating game-winning three-pointer against Maine that made SportsCenter’s top 10. Watts scored in double figures in all three games and averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game for the week. She began the week with 11 points against New Hampshire, scored a team-high 18 points against Maine, and capped the week with 14 points and season-high eight assists in the Tar Heels’ win over Clemson. This is Watts’ second ACC Rookie of the Week honor as she also earned the award on Dec. 21.
