WNBA Tip-Off 2015 presented by Boost Mobile will feature 24 games from June 5 through Sunday, June 14, culminating with the launch of ESPN2’s season-long coverage of the WNBA.  The season will officially get underway Friday with five games highlighting opening night in the WNBA.  Washington will travel to Connecticut, Atlanta will play at New York Liberty, Minnesota will host Tulsa, Indiana will face Chicago and San Antonio travels to Phoenix on the evening.

The ACC leads all leagues with 32 players on opening day rosters, including eight former Duke players, and five apiece from North Carolina and Notre Dame. At least one player from an ACC school is represented on each of the 12 WNBA teams.

The ACC had four players selected in this year’s WNBA Draft with three taken in the first round, including Notre Dame’s Jewell Loyd, who was selected with the No. 1 overall pick. The Seattle Storm rookie was recently selected as the league’s general managers’ preseason rookie of the year in the annual preseason survey.
