Participants and parents receive football instruction, ticket to the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game and more.
CHARLOTTE, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference will hold the ACC & USA Football FUNdamentals Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 3-5:30 p.m. on the Carolina Panthers’ practice field outside of Bank of America Stadium. The clinic will instruct participants ages 7-13 and their parents on proper equipment fitting, concussion awareness and the heads up tackling technique.
Partnering with USA Football, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Chick-fil-A, the event goal is to help make the game of football better and safer.
Indianapolis-based USA Football (www.usafootball.com) is the sport’s national governing body, leading the game’s development for youth, high school and other amateur players. The independent nonprofit partners with leaders in medicine, child advocacy and sport to establish important standards rooted in education. USA Football advances coaching education and player skill development for safer play and a positive football experience.
Included with each $32 registration is admission to the ACC & USA Football FUNdamentals Clinic and a ticket to the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game. Participants will also receive a $20 Dick’s Sporting Goods Bonus Certificate and a Chick-fil-A sandwich coupon.
