ACC Spring Olympic Broadcast Coverage Announced

A league-record 271 events to be covered live this spring

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today a record high for spring broadcast coverage of its Olympic sports, which includes 271 events.

Highlights of the ACC’s upcoming spring broadcast schedule include:

  • Five weeks of “ACC Monday” on ESPNU, that will feature an ACC Olympic sport event in prime time.
  • A record 147 baseball games, including all 15 games of the ACC Baseball Championship in Durham, North Carolina (May 19-24).
  • A record 42 softball games, including all seven games of the ACC Softball Championship in Blacksburg, Virginia (May 7-9).
  • A record 34 men’s lacrosse games, including all three games of the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship at PPL Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (April 24 & 26).
  • A record 22 women’s lacrosse games, including all seven games of the ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship in Charlottesville, Virginia (Aril 23, 24, & 26).
  • Twelve additional championships – men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s indoor track and Field, wrestling, men’s and women’s golf, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s and women’s outdoor track and field, and rowing – will be streamed live on ESPN3.

A total of 239 ACC spring contests will appear on ESPN networks including one on ESPN, one on ESPN2, and 27 on ESPNU. An additional 32 games will appear on the league’s regional sports networks, which include Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, Fox Sports Florida, Sun Sports, Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Midwest, Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic, New England Sports Network (NESN), the YES Network, the Madison Square Garden Network (MSG) in New York and Root Sports in Pennsylvania.

All games carried on an ESPN network or a regional sport network will also be available on WatchESPN.

In addition to the 271 events announced as part of the conference package, other games may be carried by the regional cable partners of the ACC institutions, by school websites, and as part of other conference television packages.
