ACC Men’s Basketball Legends Luncheon Presented by New York Life to be Held March 11

Legends class includes four National Players of the Year and two Final Four MVPs.

GREENSBORO, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference will host the annual ACC Men’s Basketball Legends Luncheon presented by New York Life on Friday, March 11 at the Marriott Marquis in Washington D.C. The signature event recognizes standouts who have contributed to the league's rich tradition. The 2016 ACC Men’s Basketball Legends will also be honored during a ceremony at halftime of the first semifinal game on Friday, March 11 at the Verizon Center.

The event will embody the true spirit of ACC Men’s Basketball and will offer attendees the opportunity to meet some of the biggest names in the history of its member schools. The event will begin at noon and will conclude with a short autograph session with the Legends. Information on purchasing tickets may be obtained at the official ACC website at

The host for the brunch will be Tim Brant, who has more than 30 years of experience covering sports nationally and served as the Vice President and Director of Sports for ABC 7/WJLA-TV in Washington, D.C.

2016 New York Life ACC Tournament: The 2016 New York Life ACC Tournament will be played March 8-12 in the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. The tournament will begin on Tuesday and will conclude with a primetime championship game on Saturday. All games will be nationally televised by ESPN and the ACC Network.
