ACC Mascots Participate in Outreach during ACC Football Championship Game

League mascots to visit children’s hospital on Dec. 5. 

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Atlantic Coast Conference mascots and 2014 ACC football award winners will visit Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital from 2-3:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 as part of an outreach initiative for the Dr Pepper ACC Football Championship Game. During the visit, a presentation of the mascots and award winners will take place and children will have the opportunity to have their photo taken.  

Novant Health Hemby Children’s Hospital offers expert specialty care in more than 25 areas of pediatric medicine and is dedicated to providing compassionate care in a child-friendly environment. With a playroom, teen room, playground and movie theatre, Hemby ensures that kids can really be kids – even when they are in the hospital.
