ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge Begins Friday

Eight ACC teams to face Big Ten foes

GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 2016 ACC/Big Ten Softball Challenge is set to begin on Friday, February 19, at four Atlantic Coast Conference campus sites and will continue through Sunday, February 21.

The inaugural Challenge features eight schools from each conference, with each team playing four games against the opposing conference schools. No. 13/15 Florida State, NC State, Georgia Tech and North Carolina will all serve as host sites.

Virginia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse and Boston College will also compete in the Challenge for the ACC, while No. 2/2 Michigan, No. 20/18 Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Purdue, Northwestern and Illinois will represent the Big Ten.
