ACC Announces Seeds for Rowing Championship

Defending Champion Virginia, 17th Ranked Syracuse Seeded First, Second

GREENSBORO, N.C. –Defending ACC Champion and nationally second-ranked Virginia garnered all five No. 1 seeds for the 2015 Atlantic Coast Conference Rowing Championship, which will be held Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.

The Cavaliers have won five consecutive and 14 of 15 ACC Rowing titles.

The seeds were determined by a vote of the league’s nine head coaches.

The finals of the ACC Rowing Championship will be available on ESPN3 on Saturday, May 16, beginning at 8:05 a.m. with Dean Linke and Steve Pritzker handling the announcing duties.
