Previous Weeks: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

SCHOOL (Record)
1. --- | Last: #1

Florida State (4-0)
Last: W 56-41 vs. NC State | Next: 10/4 vs. Wake Forest Jeff's Take: Jameis Winston returns and the Noles score 56 points for a 20th straight win. But it wasn’t easy, so maybe Niles Lawrence-Stample was the team’s MVP before a season-ending injury.

2. --- | Last: #2

Clemson (2-2)
Last: W 50-35 vs. North Carolina | Next: 10/4 vs. NC State Jeff's Take: True freshman Deshaun Watson, in his first college start, sets a school record with 6 touchdown passes. Makes me want to throw my hands in the air and wave ‘em like I just don’t care.

3. 1 | Last: #4

Virginia (3-2)
Last: W 45-13 vs. Kent State | Next: 10/4 vs. Pitt Jeff's Take: Next 4 games against Coastal rivals: Pitt, Duke, UNC and Georgia Tech. Would it surprise you if the Cavs win all 4? Not me.

4. 5 | Last: #9

NC State (4-1)
Last: L 56-41 vs. Florida State | Next: 10/4 @ Clemson Jeff's Take: The #BigMover this week. Did you watch the Power Poll? Now you know how much of a mancrush I have on him after his performance vs FSU. So does Jimbo.

5. 3 | Last: #8

Georgia Tech (4-0)
Last: BYE | Next: 10/4 vs. Miami Jeff's Take: Move up 3 on a bye week? Sure. Perfect timing for the players to watch one of the Outkast shows down the street from campus. Florida State is the only other undefeated ACC team.

6. 1 | Last: #7

Louisville (4-1)
Last: W 20-10 vs. Wake Forest | Next: 10/3 @ Syracuse Jeff's Take: We may have discovered a new game plan for the Cards’ offense. Reggie Bonnafon shows flashes of brilliance, but not enough yet to make Will Gardner get Wally Pipped.

7. 4 | Last: #11

Miami (3-2)
Last: W 22-10 vs. Duke | Next: 10/4 @ Georgia Tech Jeff's Take: Deshaun Watson’s spectacularness drops Brad Kaaya to being the 2nd-best true freshman QB in the ACC. Denzel Perryman does a great Willie Mays Hayes impersonation.

8. 2 | Last: #10

Virginia Tech (3-2)
Last: W 35-17 vs. Western Michigan | Next: 10/4 @ North Carolina Jeff's Take: Shai McKenzie had fought hard to bring his body back from a torn ACL. Now it happens again. Life just isn’t fair sometimes. Now, Marshawn Williams carries even more of the load.

9. 6 | Last: #3

Duke (4-1)
Last: L 22-10 vs. Miami | Next: BYE Jeff's Take: No way to know when, or if, Anthony Boone shakes off his cold start. But the schedule is friendly, including a bye week this week allowing for extra prep time for Georgia Tech’s option.

10. 5 | Last: #5

Pitt (3-2)
Last: L 21-10 vs. Akron | Next: 10/4 @ Virginia Jeff's Take: Each year under Chryst, Pitt has had a very disappointing loss. Akron is the 2014 version. Unlike ’12 and ’13, I think this team can still finish the regular season better than 6-6.

11. 5 | Last: #6

Boston College (3-2)
Last: L 24-21 vs. Colorado State | Next: BYE Jeff's Take: Coach sound bites start to sound the same. But Addazio’s comments after the loss to Colorado State felt different. I know he’s hoping the players take them to heart.

12. 1 | Last: #13

Syracuse (2-2)
Last: L 31-15 vs. Notre Dame | Next: 10/3 vs. Louisville Jeff's Take: The duality of the Syracuse defense: It created 5 turnovers. It also allowed over 500 yards and Everett Golson completed 25 straight passes.

13. 1 | Last: #12

North Carolina (2-2)
Last: L 50-35 vs. Clemson | Next: 10/4 vs Virginia Tech Jeff's Take: 120 points allowed in 2 weeks. The worst yards/game allowed of any Power 5 school. 15 penalties vs Clemson. A lot of work to do, but only 0-1 in the ACC. So the door is open.

14. --- | Last: #14

Wake Forest (2-3)
Last: L 20-10 vs. Louisville | Next: 10/4 @ Florida State Jeff's Take: The Deacs put up a great fight against Louisville. Tylor Harris had himself a special game, including the rare strip and score. Tylor, you’re making other DEs jealous.
