Named to ACSMA’s All-Defensive team in 2013, Daniel Miller was second in the ACC in blocked shots (2.1) and was 13th in rebounding ... finished his junior season averaging career bests in scoring (8.4) rebounding (6.6), offensive rebounds (2.6), and assists (2.2) ... has started each of the 93 games in his career ... has blocked at least one shot in 81 of 93 career games and is 25th on the ACC career blocked shot list with 206.
Returning are four of the five players who started the final 16 games of last season - Chris Bolden, Robert Carter, Jr., Marcus Georges-Hunt and Daniel Miller ... Carter, Jr., and Miller started all 31 games, while Georges-Hunt started all but one game ... in all, Tech returns 77 percent of its scoring and 75 percent of its rebounds from a year ago.
Marcus Georges-Hunt (10.8) and Robert Carter, Jr., (9.9) finished the 2013 season ranked 1-2, respectively, on the team in scoring ... Tech became only the sixth team in ACC history to have freshmen as its top two scorers.
