ACC Player of the Month Presented by HavolineGREENSBORO, N.C. – Clemson sophomore Miller Capps has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Golfer of the Month, announced Tuesday by the conference.

Capps earned co-medalist honors at the Puerto Rico Classic on Feb. 23-25. Capps finished in a tie for medalist honors with Robby Shelton of No. 1 ranked Alabama, who had a six-shot lead on Capps when the round began. He gained co-medalist honors in a field that included five of the top 10 players in the nation according to the Sagarin College Golf Rankings.

For the year, Capps has a 72.00 stroke average through 15 rounds, including six under-par rounds and two top-10 finishes.
