COLLEGE CUP APPEARANCES
2013 marks the 13th straight year that at least one ACC team has reached the College Cup. Since 2001, when the NCAA Tournament expanded to 48 participants, league squads have combined for six national championships and have taken 23 of the 52 slots at the College Cup.
In that time span, the ACC is the only conference to send three teams to the College Cup and has done so three separate times (2008, 2009, and 2013). The ACC has sent at least two squads in seven of the past 10 years.
Overall, ACC programs have made 49 appearances at the College Cup and won 15 national championships.
