A Look Back at the 2015 NBA Draft
Led by Duke’s Jahlil Okafor, the third overall selection by the Philadelphia 76ers, the ACC had 12 players chosen in the 2015 NBA Draft, including seven first-round selections.
The ACC led all conferences with seven first-round picks and 12 players drafted ... the 12 players drafted were the most by the ACC since having 14 selected in 1987.
For the fourth time in five years, seven ACC schools had at least one player drafted, with Duke leading the way with three first-round selections ... Louisville, Notre Dame and Syracuse each had two players drafted while Boston College, North Carolina and Virginia had one apiece.
With seven first-round selections, the ACC is the only conference to have had at least four first round picks in each of the past seven NBA drafts (2009-2015) ... the ACC also extended its streak of having at least one first-round selection to 27 consecutive years (1989-2015).
