The Military Bowl presented by Northrop Grumman kicks off for the eighth time on December 28th at 2:30 p.m. at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, featuring a matchup between the ACC and American Athletic Conference.

Organized by the DC Bowl Committee, the Military Bowl serves as a premier regional event benefiting the USO and other organizations supporting members of the Armed Forces and their families. Since its inception in 2008, the Bowl has donated more than $500,000 to the USO and provided more than 25,000 complimentary tickets for troops and their families.

Since 2008, the ACC has provided its ninth-selected team for the Military bowl if the league had nine bowl eligible (records of 6-6 or better) teams.

Russell Athletic Bowl versus Big 12 #3

Bowl Selections pool (all have equal selection status get picks #3-6)

  • Belk Bowl versus SEC
  • Hyundai Sun Bowl versus Pac-12 #5
  • New Era Pinstripe Bowl versus Big Ten
  • Music City Bowl or the TaxSlayer Bowl versus SEC

From 2014-19, the Music City and TaxSlayer will each get ACC team three times. TaxSlayer has ACC priority this year after Music City used ACC in 2014.
