Brittany Viola finished 14th in the 10-meter platform preliminaries on Wednesday night with 322.05 points. She was among 18 divers who advanced to the semifinals on Thursday.

Duke alumna Shannon Rowbury qualified for the 1,500 meter finals in the 2012 London Olympics. The 2007 graduate ran a time of 4:05.47 to grab the fifth and final automatic qualifying spot and earn the right to race in the final heat on Friday, August 10.
