Georgia Tech and Alabama State are playing for just the second time. The first meeting was a 74-37 Tech victory that opened the 2004-05 season. Georgia Tech is 13-1 all-time against current members of the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
This is the second appearance at the Donald L. Tucker Center for the Warhawks. The first meeting in 2005 was an 85-62 Seminole win. The Seminoles are 35-6 against teams from the Sun Belt the conference.
Tuesday, Dec. 18 Stanford visits Raleigh, N.C. for a matchup against NC State. Last time on the court, the Wolfpack routed Norfolk State 84-62 on Saturday night behind 21 points from freshman T.J. Warren.
