Throughout 2007-08, ACC teams in all sports will wear a commemorative black patch to honor those slain and injured in the shootings of April 16 on the campus of Virginia Tech.

The patches are solid black, without any logos or markings, and are 3/4 of an inch tall by 2 1/2 inches wide. Additionally, the Atlantic Coast Conference has donated $300,000 to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund which was created to help the victims of this tragedy.
