Last summer, the Duke University football team spent time at the Durham Rescue Mission, playing football and eating lunch with the children. This week's ACC All Access showcases the team's trip to the Durham Rescue Mission, which provides food, clothing, shelter, vocational training, continuing education, job placement, permanent supportive housing, and Christian counseling to families and individuals going through tough times.
Then ACC All Access has a player profile on North Carolina field hockey senior forward Danielle Forword, who was selected as the Tar Heels' team captain for 2009 and named to South Africa's 22-player Olympic squad in 2008. Forword is tied for ninth in the ACC in goals with nine and third in the ACC in shots per game with 5.38.
And in the ACC All Access Hog Blog, Mike Hogewood takes a closer look at the competition in ACC women's soccer, where North Carolina and Virginia Tech are tied at the top of the conference with 4-1 records followed by Florida State in second with a record of 3-1-1 in the league.
