Field Hockey
- North Carolina’s Illse Davids (South Africa) played 24 minutes in a 2-0 loss to Germany. South Africa is now 6th in Group B (0-3 record).
- Maryland’s Katie O’Donnell (USA) played 45 minutes and registered 1 shot in the 1-0 loss to Australia. USA is now 1-2 in Group B.
- Maryland’s Keli Smith Puzo (USA) played 53 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Australia.
- North Carolina’s Rachel Dawson (USA) played 56 minutes and registered 1 shot in the 1-0 loss to Australia.
- North Carolina’s Katelyn Falgowski (USA) played 44 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Australia.
- North Carolina’s Amy Swensen (USA) played 70 minutes in the 1-0 loss to Australia.

Swimming
- Florida State’s Gideon Luow (South Africa) finished fourth in Preliminary Heat 8. He finished 5th in Semifinal Heat 1 of the 50m Freestyle with a time of 21.92. He did not advance to finals.
- NC State’s Cullen Jones (USA) finished second in Preliminary Heat 7. He finished first in Semifinal Heat 1 of the 50m Freestyle with a time of 21.54 and will compete in the finals on Friday.
- Virginia’s Katya Bachrouche (Lebanon) finished second in Heat 2 of 800m Freestyle with a time of 8:35.88. She did advance to the finals.
Basketball
- Duke’s Luol Deng (Great Britain) played 34 minutes and led the team in points (26), assists (7) and rebounds (9) in its 79-78 loss to Spain. Great Britain is now 0-3 in Group B.
- Duke’s Eric Boateng (Great Britain) did not play in the 79-78 loss to Spain.
- Duke’s Marynas Pocius (Lithuania) played 16 minutes and had 15 points and 1 rebound in the 82-74 loss to France. Lithuania is now 1-2 in Group A.
